"Winter's last kiss of snow"

My brother wrote this poem about a new-found relationships that has begun in his life, and it reminds me of the great love that I have for my wife. I LOVE it, and wanted to share it. Props to my bro...
"The snow I sit and watch outside,
reminds me of my life before.
Days filled with endless rain and a constant sigh,
until she directed my gloomy ship ashore.

And as the clouds covered and the rain began to cease,
her simple presence is now covering all the old.
My heart she has taken much more than a piece,
my pride and selfishness without regret now sold.

So as I watch the temperature die and plummet,
I smile at the previous man looking up at the summit.
For he does not know how great this journey will be,
the struggles to come and the happiness to see.

The snow continually falls faster and faster,
this emotion inside I have yet to master.
If I try hard enough I think i can prevent,
the bittering sun and the spring to be sent.
For her smile and her touch I will fight time itself,
because nothing I have done will be in vain even if the snow melts."
