Failure is key!

Don't be afraid of risk - failure is key! Far too many times do we try to avoid failure by playing it safe in life and ministry, when our all-powerful, all-knowing God is calling us to live a life of risk.
Check it out: Jesus tells a story in Matthew 25 of three men who were given talent(money)from their master. Two of the guys risked failure and invested their talents. The other dude was so afraid of taking a risk, so afraid of losing his one talent that he buried it in the field. When the master returned, the two had a return on their investement and the servant who buried his was rebuked!
"The Message" offers great insight in Luke 19 when it says: "Risk your life adn get more than you ever dreamed of. Play it safe and end up holding the bag."
The question is not IF we fail, it's WHEN we fail. We WILL fail, many times and we must learn from it, laugh through it and watch God move even through our failures.
