Today my mind is reeling. Questions unanswered. Problems unsolved. It seems that ministry brings a myriad of issues that are constantly being presented and placed on your plate for you to work through.
For some reason, Mondays tend to not be a day where I am full of encouragement. Yet I find strength and truth in the Word.
Isaiah 30:21 says:
"Your ears will hear a word behind you, "This is the way, walk in it"...
Isaiah 30:21 says:
"Your ears will hear a word behind you, "This is the way, walk in it"...
I firmly believe that God wants to bless his children. He want's them to succeed and not fail. He wants them to prosper and not faint. However these truths may have different outcomes than we anticipated, and it is our faith not our circumstances or emotions that we must allow to rule.
We may NOT follow our heart, for as Jeremiah reminds us...our heart is deceitfully wicked above all things. No, not our heart, nor emotions, nor circumstances must define what way we walk in, only the Word that is written from the heart of God when he whispers in our ears behind us "My child, this is the way, walk in it..."
"Lord, I will walk wherever you lead me..."
